A brief history of the Chicago & North Western line from Eagle Grove to Hawarden:

06/26/21

Located in Humboldt, this small stone arch crosses a small drainage creek north of Iowa Highway 3.
Built in 1902, this bridge was likely built to replace an older timber trestle. It features a single stone arch, with typical wing walls. The bridge follows a typical design for the time.
Currently, the bridge is used to carry the Three Rivers Trail.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
